Open Molding of Type II Fiberglass Acid Door for the Manufacturing Industry

Hanlon Industries employs a combination of our advanced open molding and mold building technology to manufacture a series of acid tank doors for a client from the manufacturing industry based in Cleveland, Ohio. We produce these tank doors based off of customer supplied prints. Upholding tolerances as tight as .25 of an inch, we construct each unit from type II fiberglass material to measure precisely 58 inches in length and 26 inches in width, with a flange thickness of 2.25 inches and a body thickness of 1.75 inches. Each unit also weighs 35 pounds.
After manufacturing is complete, we provide each tank door with a smooth finish, removing any sharp burrs or edges. We also perform a series of comprehensive dimensional checks to ensure that each part meets precise client specifications. With the ability to satisfy our customer's unique product requirements, we now produce 10 to 20 acid tank doors annually for this client, shipping the units directly to their facility in Ohio. |
